The Red-Tailed Hawk is a bird of prey. Almost everyone knows this bird as the chicken hawk because he will actually kill your chickens. These birds have been know to live up to 28 years and have been very agressive. The red tail looks like it it sounds he has a red tail (go figure). The red tail hawk is not endangered. The red tail makes a life partner when it leaves on its own an never leaves him or her.
