The red tailed hawk has no natural predators. Almost nothing can take down the red tailed hawk. The red tail is a carnivore. Which means they are a flesh eating bird. The red tail hawk hunts anything from mice to small whitetail deer.How they eat /catch there food, they soar above or will scan fields from a tree or from a fence post, and then move in for the kill.

The Red-Tailed Hawk is a bird of pey. Most of yall know this bird as the chicken hawk because he will actually kill your chickens. These birds have been know to live up to 28 years and have be very agressive. The red tail looks like it it sounds he has a red tail (go figure). The red tail hawk is not endangered. The red tail makes a life partner when it leaves on its own an never leaves him or her.
